Intake Forms

Once your appointment request has been approved, you will receive your Welcome Packet. Please review my practice information and complete your forms before your visit! (I hate forms too and I've done everything I can to make sure we don't waste appointment time filling out forms)!

Your First Appointment

Your first visit is a longer appointment. I will take the time to make sure your needs are met, questions are answered, and we have created a custom plan that is tailored to your goals.

Hi, I'm Heather

A Nurse Practitioner for people who are tired of traditional healthcare encounters and want to work with a provider who takes the time to know them, hears and understands their concerns, and empowers them to take control of their mental health with realistic and actionable tools and resources.

who i work with

adults 18 and older

The goal of Joy Spring Mental Health is that everyone who engages in my services (whether it is direct patient care or online coursework), feels welcome, heard, and accepted. I respect and value differing cultural lenses. My care will meet you where you are and be applicable to your needs. Clients who enjoy working with me are:

Ready to be well

They are committed to doing the work and they want to work with a provider who will have practical solutions that are tailored to their individual needs

Appreciate a direct and honest approach

They want a provider that is team-oriented and looks at the big picture to explain the what and why of each step of the plan.

If you have ever had a negative experience receiving healthcare services, you are going to love how I do things differently. My patients aren’t numbers and they aren’t diagnoses. They are wonderful people (even if they don’t feel like it or know it yet), who, like all of us, sometimes need someone to take care of them or help them take care of themselves. That’s my job.
